ABOUT THE GAMBIA

The Gambia officially The Republic of of The Gambia is is a country in West Africa that is entirely surrounded by Senegal except for its coastline on the Atlantic Ocean at its western end. It is the smallest country on mainland Africa named after the The River Gambia. The river is situated on either side of the river.which flows through the centre of The Gambia and and empties into the Atlantic Ocean. The Gambia is 10,698 square kilometers (4127 sq mi) and with a population of  1,857181 as of the April 2013 census. Banjul is the capital.

 

THE JEGGAN COLE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION

The Jeggan Cole Memorial Foundation is a registered charity organization founded in November 2014 and based in The Gambia. The Foundation aims to provide educational support to needy and deserving students in upper basic and senior secondary schools through its interrelated core programs: Scholarship, Mentorship and Service. Our goal is to help unleash the full potential of JCMF scholars for growth excellence and experience–building and become responsible citizens.
