Thirty-two years ago to the day,
I welcomed a beautiful baby into my world.
He was the joy and pride of my life
And soon, became my identity.
I watched him grow into a man,
Just an everyday regular guy
Who fussed about nothing
Yet discussed everything.
With a grin on his face
And usually unfazed
He learnt to keep it going.
So when the going got tough
“It’s all good,” he would retort
Comforting my weary soul.
Now that we are here again,
Another birth date in memory
And your angel date a story.
Your birthday will be no different
It was the day you made me a proud mother.
A good wish
May the angels sing to you in the most joyous way dear Jeggan. Happy birthday in heaven.
